For my grandfather, I use to open a can of Maxwell House Coffee, using a slotted key that you slip a tab from side of the tin can into the small slot and turn the key clockwise which peeled off a small band as the key turned. This created the replaceable lid. The aroma of the ground coffee grinds, hissing out of the broken vaccum seal, was heavenly. My grandparents, in those days of old, would not serve coffee to minors.
Yes! Just opening a can of coffee …hmmm, that scent is already comforting!
